Pros

Cheap benefits. Great culture if you get the right team. Plenty of office perks.

Cons

Pay is not worth the work. No cross collaboration or communication between departments. If changes are implemented to packages or payments, customer service and sales teams are the last to know and the often find out on release day. Very little room for growth. Poor leadership from top down. The higher the leadership the longer they’ve been with the company because they get away with being basically non existent in the office, and it shows. Constructive feedback or concerns are viewed as problematic and you will be penalized. I tried to express my concerns multiple times which ultimately lead to my departure as I was looked as combative rather than expressing frustration because don’t you dare have a negative thing to say about the company favorites.

Pros

Nice people, a lot of former educators that really care about the mission and making learning better for students. Great product with a lot of innovations.

Cons

VP of sales is shady and slimy and does a bunch of terrible things for company as a whole. Lies about numbers and about bonus compensation, for example we didn’t even know our numbers for an entire year, no way to verify pay and progress to goal, etc. Super messy and unprofessional. Sales managers underneath VP all operate like a cult, there’s a lot of nepotism and favoritism in the upper management and a lot of the males in those roles don’t know what they’re doing and aren’t actually managing their teams. Horrible bosses to work for- high expectations when they themselves don’t do much of anything, and they just don’t care about their people. Could care less about you as a person. An education company should do better!!
