Pros
- Early/mid years were incredibly engaging and fun. I met some wonderful colleagues and some lifelong friends. - Lots of potential to work on problem spaces you are interested in. - I grew a ton in my time here. I was always given the opportunity to advance my career.
Cons
I’ve watched this company evolve over the years and the most recent changes have soured my outlook for the future. - RTO policy was shared with no sympathy towards employees who were told they were joining a “remote first” company. Other benefits were silently stripped away and we were told to “deal with it”. - High value and instrumental teams were put in the backseat with decision making. They continued to work hard to build valuable products but had to deal with terrible politics to get those products integrated and realized. - I don’t think leadership understood how valuable some members of the team were. There are some roles you just can’t backfill. They should be recognized, valued, and compensated accordingly. - I always knew I could get paid more if I went somewhere else. I was okay with that because of the culture and people I worked with. Slowly that culture changed and the people left.
