Pros

There are no pros to working here beyond avoiding unemployment.

Cons

- Boss is young, inexperienced, demanding, boastful, arrogant and exhausting to work with. Calls outside of working hours are common and you are not paid overtime. - No opportunity for growth as they will only favour family/friends for promotions and pay raise. - Really, really low pay and no benefits whatsoever. - No overall company direction due to incompetent management. - Boss likes to yell.

Pros

nothing. not one thing is good

Cons

if you’re looking for a job, don’t look here. it’s been a while since I left the company and I must say the mental trauma is real.

Working at Ice’s Secret has been a draining experience, with an overwhelming workload that never seems to let up. Despite voicing concerns about the mounting tasks, the bosses show little empathy and instead resort to gaslighting when targets aren't met. Overtime is expected and leaving on time is frowned upon, with calls for work coming in as late as 12am.
Btw at least 80% of their employees have written a Glassdoor review so this isn’t just select former employees writing bad reviews. its 80% of us all experiencing the same mistreatment and feeling the same way. The remaining 20% is likely those who were hired through family/social connections

In summary, I would strongly advise job seekers to think twice before considering a position at this company. The toxic work culture, excessive workload, and disregard for work-life balance make it a challenging place to thrive and grow in your career. It's crucial to prioritise your mental and emotional well-being over any job opportunity, and this company fails to provide the necessary support in that regard.

FYI, the office is not one bit near to the MRT, it’s at least a 10mins walk / 5min bus ride.
