Pros

In-Clinic coworkers and previous manager.

Cons

Essentially a call center position, even working in-clinic. When you first start the schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, and then unexpectedly was told there is a shift bid every 90 days, where your schedule will change… every 90 days. After my initial 90 days, I was never off 2 days in a row. The work/life balance is awful. You have to take PTO to ever have 2 days off in a row. You do not get certain holidays off, and have to work the last day of the month, regardless if it is your day off (without having another day off to make up for working an extra day — not paid hourly, so no overtime). Previous manager made the job worth it, was very encouraging and made you feel like you mattered . After the mass lay-offs and being left without a manager completely destructed any morale. They recently hired a new Quality Assurance team which essentially is a micromanaging position. You are just a number here. The base pay is disgusting, even for a commission based position. There is minimal to no room for advancement.

Pros

Got to learn about the world of aesthetics. Had the opportunity to receive services as an employee.

Cons

High workload + long hours. Sometimes, there is no time to leave to use the restroom or take your lunch, depending on the manager, Commission + benefit structure constantly changing/getting worse.
