Pros

Identiti's family like dynamic makes work feel a lot less like work. The owners truly value their employees and work hard to make sure the culture and environment is fun and positive. Our voices are heard and upper management checks on everyone to make sure we are not overwhelmed with work. There are different committees we can volunteer to join. Those committees plan fun events, fundraisers, and even educational "classes" for the employees. We have an open door policy and if we have suggestions that we feel would make the workplace better we can suggest something anonymously if we are not comfortable sharing it with upper management.

Cons

Low starting off pay, I had to start working out more because Identiti likes food!

Pros

It's great working for a company that views me as more than just a number. The amount of development and growth is tremendous. Culture here is very strong and we continue to grow at an amazing rate.

Cons

No meaningful cons, Identiti is really a great company to work for.

Pros

Friday afternoons were slightly less chaotic than the rest of the week.

Cons

In my interview, they spent half the time talking about how long this role was different, how I'd actually shape strategy and work with leadership on project direction-- said it multiple times, which honestly should've been a red flag. But I wanted to believe them and went in excited, and then I just... executed for months. No strategy conversations, no real input on anything that mattered, just taking orders from above. The autonomy they promised didn't exist --every decision needed approval, every suggestion delay got delayed or killed, and when I pushed back, I was basically told that's how things work here so get with the program. I watched the other PMs just accept it, which honestly gets old. By the month six I realized the "collaborative environment" they'd painted was just fiction, a selling tactic.
