Don't believe the hype - Training Consultant Impact Factory Employee Review

It's really sad when the facade of a company that promised you so much, starts to crumble in front of you. When you start at the Impact Factory you're told about how the company is unique and (if you make it) you could be earning up to 100k a year as freelancer. It's a good trick as you're then willing to give up more and more of your unpaid time to ascend the ladder. I later found out from a long-serving staff member that the 100k figure is actually based on the singular achievements of an associate director who once pulled this in, in a calendar year. Her reward? To be kicked out of the company for getting 'too big for her boots'. Since then nobody has even come close to that level of earning and the majority of work is divided between the same 5 main trainers with the rest of us living off scraps.. Which is fine (money isn't everything) but not if you're using it to hoik newbies into your way of thinking. I concur with other honest reviewers on here about the politics, which is another huge disappointment when it comes to light, and I truly believe it affects the standard of training. That's why we have such a long client list because they are mainly one-offs with very little repeat business. As I said it's a sad reality and very hard to come to terms with but poor leadership will always filter through any organisation. As such the permanent staff are largely put upon and demotivated too.
