Free Food (don't know if they still have it)
Cons
Many but boils down to attitude. Stubborn, insensitive and only listens to foreigners. I never understood hiring a person for their wealth of knowledge just to NEVER take their advice. I found myself in one too many situations where I wanted to say "I told you so". As a start-up, you can’t afford mistakes, especially those you can avoid. But the management is a stubborn bunch, unless the same advice came from a foreigner, they would rather hit a wall than listen to you. Yes they would nod their head, yes they would give you a forum to share your concerns, but at the same time they would process those concerns in equivalent amount of time as a government entity would (basically shelf it). And when things go south, you will be the first to get it. The management will hide, not answer calls till everything subsides. Basically we join start-ups for growth, to feel appreciated and know that we are contributing to a higher cause. Instead you will feel frustrated daily as politics plays a huge role in your progression in this company. Don’t aim to work hard, aim to drink with the right people. PS: They are bad paymasters as well
