Pros
Most of the people working here are really laid back and easy to get along with.
Cons
The owner of this shop has no ability to communicate and no sense of professionalism. Instructions for everything are vague and poorly-stated, but he will get angry if you ask for clarification. If anything ever goes wrong -which it always does- he will find a reason to blame you, even if it makes no sense. If you try to defend yourself then you're just making "justifications". Every single issue will be handled publicly and in front of the whole office. The owner spends most of his time berating his employees for not being able to read his mind. One of his employees has worked there for over a decade and gets the exact same treatment. There's no sense of human decency or respect. Furthermore, the work hours are inconsistent and misleading. The owner pays everyone salary because he expects 9-10 hour days with little to no break. Most people are lucky to get 15 minutes in, arrive early, and stay late. Many of the artists are forced to take their work home with them. There are no benefits, and for the workload, you will not be making very much per hour. At the time I arrived, there was only one artist working and he had been there for just over a year. It's very telling to me that this company can't hold on to an art team. Nobody wants to work here long term.
