      Pros

      The programs and goals provided for each learner are individualized. Behavior plans are created and implemented to decrease undesired behaviors specific to each child. If you ask people of supporting and management positions a question, they will answer your questions within some time period.

      Cons

      The other employees could have been more personable at times. I felt as though the scheduling and other processes during my time there were hard to follow. I was not the only one to struggle with the new programs that were expected to work and have exceptional results following. The documentation and materials for the learners I had could have been updated more often. With the materials being provided and the needed materials being communicated by others than myself, it could have provided a more productive and smooth transition throughout each day.

      Thank you for your time and effort spent supporting the learners at IBAA. They are the reason we are here and we appreciate you recognizing our efforts to provide individualized programming. Applied Behavior Analysis is definitely a job for those who are very passionate about working with children, able to navigate a fast moving environment, and aware of the responsibilities of other team members. It may take a little time in the field to recognize that even the best of programs desire the resources needed to enhance response time and increase one on one support. I am confident that the management team at IBAA greatly appreciates and values each member of the team so we regret that you may have felt otherwise. Again, thank you for the work you provided to our learners and for taking time to offer a little feedback about your experience. We wish you the best.

      Frequency of staff fluctuations due to people often having unrealistic expectations with time off, attendance policies, ect.

      Pros

      IBAA takes great pride in supporting children with autism and their families. We are one of few centers that have been awarded the Center of Excellence Award , offered by Behavior Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE). This review surveyed every staff member anonymously and found the team to be overwhelmingly pleased with us as an employer. The children come first, but employees are extremely valued as well. The company continues to add benefits for employees. Annual bonuses are offered. Management takes a hands on approach and respects the strengths and needs of all staff. The previous staff who offered a negative review was one who was offered a great deal of support as they worked through a number of issues related to performance and personal need. Unfortunately that person was escorted from the property due to continued flagrant violation of policy and has since made an effort to defame the company. The team is saddened by the outcome of this individuals experience, but continues to wish them well.

      Cons

      The responsibilities of an ABA clinician are significant. It takes someone with a passion to work with children with disabilities to do this job.
