Pros
If you want to work in entertainment PR, this is a great internship opportunity. You will work directly with the owners of the company, who have amazing experience in several different areas of publicity, including talent and film. If you have an interest in independent films and film festivals, you will learn a lot and have opportunities to attend festivals and work on films premiering at Sundance, SXSW, Santa Barbara and more.
I personally had the opportunity to travel to various festivals, work with talent, and gained invaluable experience in PR. It's not the type of internship where you answer phones and grab coffees - you will learn everything you need to move on to a job in entertainment PR. After my 3 month internship I was able to work on a freelance basis for almost 6 months, and used Linda's connections to land a full time job. I found that they took the time to get to know me and help me improve in the areas I needed to, which led to finding the right job for me.
Cons
I have no cons about this internship - I would not have the experience that I brought to my new job without it.
