Hi – first of all, I’m sorry to hear that your experience at Indigo has not been positive. This is disappointing for me to hear, but helpful feedback. I personally hate to hear that you think the People team is “talking nonsense” – and I would be happy to meet on this directly with you. It’s correct that I try hard to spend time in front of the company on a regular basis to talk about what we’re hearing from employees through regular pulse surveys and I talk a lot about being open and transparent….this because we want to promote feedback, positive and negative, as it gives us insights we might not otherwise get.
On compensation, we benchmark this annually using external market data, and every employee receives equity upon hiring and annually as well as a bonus, based on performance. If you have concerns about low compensation, we on the People team would be happy to discuss.
You mention an IPO; our mission as a company is to help farmers feed the planet in a sustainable way. We think by doing that we will also create a big and successful company, but if the most important criteria in being at the company is a future IPO, it is probably not the right fit.
Thank you again for your comments and taking the time to write into Glassdoor.
