Pros

Unlimited PTO Company Slack can be pretty lively Scrappy in a good way, sometimes The product (coworking space) is interesting + experiential Team and company offsites can be fun, and some teams are able to travel

Cons

Extremely political to the point of absolutely impeding the work quality - if you’re someone invested in your work and interested in providing real value to users, this is heartbreaking The political environment means the best idea doesn’t win. Tension is high - things sometimes get vicious (getting thrown under the bus, actual shouting, etc). Huge cross-functional inefficiencies - other teams can try to purposely impede your work. Incredibly disorganized and lacking in resources. This is particularly frustrating when you have to manually execute processes because the right software, systems, and structure isn’t in place to streamline efforts. When I first joined and I asked others to describe the culture, they called it “nonexistent.” While the CEO and founder appear to be charismatic and down-to-earth, upon closer examination, the cracks start appearing. The other mentions of "favoritism" and “going after their random whims” does happen. A lot of their workspace “innovations” are half-baked ideas, veiled by marketing mumbo-jumbo or an aesthetic application. Don’t fall for it! OKRs and goals are made in service to revenue, not to the customer. Very dependent on the team you’re on - some are shafted/overworked, others get all the shine. Definitely a "have and have-nots" thing going on. Low compensation compared to similar titles and industries.

Pros

Honestly I really enjoyed my experience at this company. So much so that I have applied multiple times to return and work for them but they continue to send the automatic replies of "We went with another candidate" which does make me sad because I have all 5+ stars from all my former members about how they really enjoyed me running their location. I wish I wouldn't have left when I did but I had to due to personal reasons. Benefits are incredible, the Member Experience Manager position is really a great position and they pay very well (in my opinion). Honestly no complaints.

Cons

Only that I left at the time that I did and I wish I was still working for them. I got to meet both Jamie and Justin and honestly I can say they are probably the best CEO's I've ever worked for.
