Pros
- Flat hierarchy (lots of transparency between teams, ability to express opinions and influence decisions) - Flexible working hours (your own responsibility to make sure you can take time off) - Plenty of company-paid teambuilding activities - If you put work in, managers/C-suite will reward you with options to move up and learn new things/take new responsibilities - Fun and knowledgable colleages - Due to the flat hierarchy you don't feel a disconnect between you and higher-ups
Cons
- As a small company there is no real HR function aside from what Swedish laws states as mandatory - There is a indecisiveness in C-suite/board decisionmaking that makes the company move slowly forward - instead of taking bets that can have impactful outcomes - Some parts of the platform the company develops are mismanaged to the point that it looks like an intern created the base, that then never got the attention it needed to reflect what the company wants to represent.
