Great co-workers, very nice managers. Pay isn't terrible. Promotion from within is possible.
Cons
The benefits stink! Have had nothing but trouble with the company that manages benefits. They never seem to get faxes that are sent to them, insurance is very costly, yet doesn't seem to cover anything. Nothing but headaches, when it comes to trying to get anything fixed , whether it be with medical or dental insurance, or flexible spending... Save yourself a lot of headaches and money... Don't get the insurance. As far as the bakery department goes, they expect a lot of work done in a very small amount of time. If sales are down, hours are cut dramatically, but the expectation to continue to keep the same amount of product on shelves is still there. As with most places, much is done by a few, while some employees slack and get away with it. Management has no idea of time needed to complete certain tasks, so they have a hard time understanding what a reasonable expectation is.
