Pros
The employees are incredibly nice and hard-working, for the most part. And the air of the place is very relaxed, so there isn't a ton of pressure most of the time. And being both a customer and employee at the same time has its perks every so often, so it's not too bad.
Cons
The management is petty. If you aren't doing your absolute best to kiss up to everyone, you are given the short stick every time. Less hours, requests denied, and your suggestions are completely ignored or questioned. Also, since the place doesn't really do much to hold any standards, you are often dealing with broken or jury-rigged equipment, or even advised to violate health code in order to save some money. If you happen to be good at anything, don't expect anyone to allow you to learn anything else. They often discuss cross-training, but no one is ever actually given that opportunity. There is no point in putting in your two week's notice when you leave, since they cut your hours down to nothing before that time even comes.
