Pros
Competitive wage, benefits and 401k
Cons
Horrible communication between leads, supervisors and upper management. As soon as this company went public their demise and poor decision making began to slowly show it's face to the employees. It became more about money than the data analytics of health care and the treatment that physicians were not addressing. The call center became a money making machine that used an auto dialer to repeatedly bombard random insurance holders and physicians, instead of people who are actually in need of this type of assistance that Inovalon would normally offer (Medicare advantage plan holders). Inovalon's affiliation with Anthem and how that contract transpired is text book stupidity, along with what had come to fruition with Aetna. The positive reviews for this company are extremely upsetting and unsettling as there is so much more behind the scenes that the public and employees of this company do not know about, until the trickle effect reaches the lower level. The East Lansing, Michigan location is a prime example of how the powers that be at Inovalon make continuous poor business decisions, have poor communication with employees of each level (privy to knowledge or not) and poor judgement calls regarding client contracts and illegal call center activity (harassment).
