Pros

Great coworkers, hybrid flexibility, okay benefits

Cons

There is no accountability at all for bad management. While there are some great managers there, there are also several poor or toxic managers, and with no feedback system in place, there is no accountability for bad behavior. I saw several well-liked and strong performers terminated because of insecure management, enabled by an eager HR department. Managers or high-earning sales execs can do as they like, and that includes terminating anyone who annoys them or stands up for themselves. There is no management training. The company is struggling, which means many people and departments are overworked after several RIFs, so bear that in mind. For many people there, success equals doing the work of two people and having no healthy work/life boundaries. Two bay area locations were recently shut down completely because they are floundering. They continue to try to force a RTO, but some employees are favored and they are excepted from the rules put on everyone else. There is a lot of talk about company values, but it's empty virtue signaling and not backed up by any of their decision making.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We value transparency and take all concerns raised seriously. We are actively working on elevating accountability across the organization to ensure consistent leadership standards and practices aligned with our values. As with all companies out there, decisions and changes are continually being made to maintain their long-term health. It does genuinely feel that change is the only constant in these current times. While change is never easy, we're committed to supporting our teams through it all. Finding the right hybrid working arrangement that works for a diverse group of people remains a challenge that many are still adapting to. We are forever learning about what works for our company, for our employees and our clients. We strive to balance flexibility with business needs, and to apply it consistently. If there are perceived inconsistencies, we encourage employees to discuss these with their HR business partner or direct manager. We deeply value our employees and are committed to living our company values through actions, not just words. If you're willing to share more specific feedback, please reach out to me directly. Your insights will help us continue to improve our workplace. Best regards, Christina Ioannou VP of People

Pros

Decent pay, most people on the team were nice, really nice product, flexible work schedule as long as you got your work done and weren't traveling. Big name clients, looks good on a resume.

Cons

High work load, like high, slammed all the time. Working late and around the clock was praised. Managers don't have good idea of resource leveling and management. Leadership generally was out of touch. Furniture industry itself was quite unstable. Lots of layoffs and felt unstable like your job could be taken at anytime.
