Too cliquey -- no knowledge transfer - Anonymous employee Insite Software Solutions Employee Review

Pros

Product has potential. Good location. Nice space.

Cons

Too "high school" cliquey for my taste. Couple prim a dona developers who refuse to listen to other viewpoints or industry standards. Disagree and you will be "setup to fail". Biggest problem is the zero transfer of knowledge of product development. Never in my career have I seen a development team be so noninclusive.

Pros

Working at Insite means working with some of the most passionate, hard-working and intelligent people. You're rarely, if ever, the smartest person in the room. Employees are continuously learning from each other and pushing each other to be better than they were the day before. The office is located in the warehouse district of Minneapolis on the lightrail line near great restaurants, music venues and Target Field so there is plenty to do for lunch, happy hours or team outings. Overall the work is challenging but everyone is working toward shared goals and is willing to help where they can. If you're a self-starter and up for a challenge you can make a real difference at Insite as it has a small company feel. Career-wise It feels like there is plenty of room to grow with the company.

Cons

With Insite being a relatively small company, chasing pretty ambitious goals, it often needs to move fast and be a little scrappy. This can sometimes involve working long nights or weekends and meeting very tight deadlines. Insite has to keep up with far bigger players in the eCommerce industry and that can often mean working with limited resources while still delivering equal quality. Many people like the flexible-time-off policy while I would prefer a bucket of time because FTO deters me from feeling like I can take vacation
