Pros
I’ve seen the company go through many changes in the almost 3 years I’ve been with Insureon, some of the most positive happening during the last half of this year. -Training program led by management and true investment in their new employees is a focus now that will pay off in the near future. Wish I had had this type of training when I joined the team! -Supportive sales team dynamic- this team has very bright insurance professionals willing to share what they know. No knowledge hoarding whatsoever. Mid-level management is also very supportive in your sales process and growth. This is so important! - The CEO, Dan Kazan, as well as other execs that have recently moved into roles have brought many positive changes to the atmosphere of the company. - Encourage their employees to participate in inclusion committees- recent Ion fundraiser, company contests, etc. -Insureon’s transition from on location to completely remote during the Covid pandemic was essentially seamless from what I could tell. IT team is very helpful, responsive, effective in getting things done. - Benefits/401K match/ Decent PTO. Downtown Chicago location, office view is breathtaking! -Overall, Insureon has built a great product, maintained fruitful partnerships, and excited to see where the company is headed next.
Cons
- Work load can be demanding at times and may overwhelm you. Must work quick to stay on top of queues. Not a problem once you get the hang of it. -While Insureon offers good PTO bank, taking even a few days off can set you back in goal/metrics. - Lots of changes happen often but usually just trying to improve their process.
