Pros
Huge Flexibility in work hours, pick your own shifts. I do this part-time in the winter for extra income. The pay is above other seasonal positions, and the work lasts longer (i.e. after the holiday rush). The work environment is very interesting, the co-workers are great and management is pretty "with-it". Some nice perks such as shift differential pay for hard to fill shifts and nice touches such as dinner provided on a crazy busy day, as well as gift card give-away's for going above and beyond. Over-all a great seasonal position. Overtime is available and plentiful for those looking for it. The work can be cold and hard, but it is rewarding. As a woman, I had some reservations, however I was treated as one of the guys and had no problems!
Cons
The work is outside, and weather can be awful - Dress appropriately and you will be fine.
