Pros
Flexibility. As a working parent I find flexibility to be an extremely valuable perk- being able to get stay home when I need to, or leave when I need to, without having to trouble myself with how my employer might frown on it. They are VERY family oriented- they are family run after all. So they understand very much the challenges of work/life balance and are very friendly in that regard. As long as you are a honest, dependable person you won't have a problem here.
Cons
I'm not fond of complaining, and anything I have concerns about I am confident management is addressing. The CEO and President meets with EVERY person in the business as a team at least once a quarter, where everyone has the opportunity to raise their concerns and is welcome to do so. Upper management also is very visible and frequently come by and check up, and they arent doing it in a way that inspires intimidation, they truly are warm and friendly. The success of the business is your success too- they even have a shadow stock option where you can buy a piece of the success and reap the rewards.
