      Interesting work and important impacts at the program level.

      Cons

      It can be a degrading place to work as a woman. Female work, ideas, and contributions are not valued the same way as male contributions and little attempt is made to pretend otherwise - working there is kind of like stepping back in time.

      Cons

      Limited career progressions within the institution for people who enter as very junior staff. The typical path is to advance from Program Assistant to Program Associate, but after that, acquiring manager-level experience is difficult without more education or experience.
