- Everybody has their own experience across different departments (obviously) but I can honestly say from personal experience that most people would get a shock if they left for various other workplaces. I've worked in a lot of places over 11/12 years and people would soon be asking their jobs back at ii.
- The best place I have ever worked so far with the best team (Transfers Out)
- 2 working from home days per week
- Great office and great people to work with
- An opportunity to get into the career ladder for finance, etc.
- A decent pension packet
- Decent benefits included
- 10/10 location on Deansgate - right opposite Hawskmoor
- Brilliant office
- Several other things
Cons
- The pay/full package offered at certain competitors is more appealing (be careful with this though)
- A (slight) lack of progression from a wider-team perspective as there's a lot of people on 1 team. Specialist/manager roles do not come up extremely often, and there aren't many growth paths available (from my perspective anyway - depends on what you want to be fair).
Company benefits were good and they have a clear desire to retain good talent in the business.
Team culture was really good in UX and I felt well supported by senior management for most of the time I was at ii.
Cons
Some lack of structure in senior management at times. On boarding onto the team also took a little long for me (thought they did listen and changed this for later hires). Also the company culture was changing as I arrived, with people having to be in the office at least 3 days and either Monday or Friday.
