      This is the best paying employer in this area, they offer 401k, insurance and safety is the #1 priority. Most safety PPE is provided and easily accessible. Unionized.

      Cons

      Shift work is something you'll most likely have to do at some point when working here. Unionized. Hot in some places.

      Used to be well respected in the area and stable. Decent severance.

      Cons

      No longer stable. Outsourced IT department in maintenance mode. Two consecutive years of major layoffs and countless plant closures. No advancement opportunities anymore.
