They’ve changed in the last decade.
The interstates I knew preached Family. YOUR FAMILY, as their core value, and I genuinely think they actually were that diamond in the rough back in their day. 2013-2016 were the peak Interstates days. They were best when they were a smaller sized company, but by god they have to double in size every two years to appease the Harbor Group investors.
Nowadays they’re the same cookie cutter “we’re family here” toxic corporate environment. They’ll ditch their values the second it inconvenience them and they won’t think twice. You’re a number, nothing more or less.
If you’re planning to seek new employment, or comeback to this employer I suggest to run the other direction.
