Fast paced team. CEO cares deeply about people and the mission.

Small team. Everyone works late and at odd hours. Everyone discusses work life balance being fine, but admittedly everyone tends to work on vacations. I get the sense this is not a requirement for the company, but there is some pressure to do so since everyone else is.

First and foremost Interviewing.io has a great team of people that care about each other, the product they build, and the community around that product. It is very nice to work at a company where incentives for the product, business and customers all align in a candidate getting their dream job. As a startup the the pay and compensation package was very fair and beat competing offers from other similar, and even larger, start ups I had offers from at the time (work was similar, total comp including equity and benefits was still lower). The engineering team always had a lot of autonomy to and the culture in general was focused on steady and consistent improvements to the product.

As with any small start up that hasn't gone through multiple raises yet, there are certain constraints one must expect and learn to deal with. Resources will be tight, time will be short, and you may have to make hard pivots. If you can not deal with ambiguity or taming chaos you will have a bad time.
