Pros

If you befriend the management and C Level employees, you will have a great time! Free beers on Friday Free lunch on Wednesday Central Office No need to work on notice or redundancy

Cons

In all honesty, they just shave off the axe on employees without any warning. A lot of redundancy has been happening, and I strongly believe the resources being invested are done in a wrong way. This is not the place to work with if you are looking for a stable job. It can prove to be very rewarding but isn't worth it with all the stress of not knowing who will be the next one to be let go. It could be you perhaps...? If you are made redundant, and tell friends or other employees, they try to use the scare tactic that might risk you not getting paid for being let go.

Hi there, I am disappointed to hear that you are so disillusioned by your experience with us here at Investoo Group. Hopefully I can address some of the issues you have raised. Startups are notorious for having a high attrition rate and it's a difficult task retaining and engaging existing employees but something we are very conscious of. These decisions are never made lightly and are given a lot of thought, a fair process is always followed and our people are given lots of notice and support. Keeping communication open has been a big focus for us in the last 6 months. We provide multiple modes of communication among managers and employees which is evident through our increase in company meetings, monthly all hands, 1:1s and anonymous survey feedback routes. A recent survey found that the majority of staff feel they are aware of changes that happen in the company showing a material improvement from our last survey in May. I’m glad you note that we provide people with rewarding career opportunities. We have drastically improved our long-term approach in order to maintain a sustainable business. One of the many ways in which we do so is providing employees with the opportunity to progress to higher positions within the company. Lastly, I’d like to thank you for your review.
