Pros
This is a hidden gem. Management really cares about employees and everyone is working toward the same mission to help patients gain access to genetic info. New folks often wonder what the catch is — there is no catch. Just a group of incredibly smart and caring people working toward a common good.
Cons
The culture is short on policy and long on personal responsibility. If you’re looking for a highly structured workplace with a boss telling you exactly what to do, this is not the right place for you. Also a high-growth company so growing pains can be challenging. This is not a place where you can “coast” or expect to fly under the radar without being challenged to contribute and grow.
