      Pros

      Good location, Good work / home life balance, interesting products, good comp (most of the time). Very conducive to learning new things.

      Cons

      Management was not great in later years and did not know how to run company. Salaries were below market in later years.

      Pros

      Good introductory exposure to hedge funds and alternative investments. Great balance of work and personal life. Long Island life style. Fully stocked kitchen and company events. Some of the best people that I have ever worked with.

      Cons

      Get's you used to a Long Island life style which does not prepare you well for NYC hours and stress. Salary is not commensurate with industry but is balance by better quality of life.
