Pros
I worked at Ivybrook with Pre-K students Monday-Friday 7:45am-12:30pm. I absolutely loved working there. The best part of Ivybrook Estero was their leadership team and teachers. My co-teacher was a joy to learn from and very collaborative with relaying information she learned from the year prior. The leadership team offered continuous training in the Montessori and Reggio Emilia early childhood education philosophy.
Cons
Honestly there are not many cons to working at Ivybrook. If you are looking for a part-time teaching role with reasonable salary pay, bonuses, and employee student tuition discount for your child, it definitely meets that! Given that it is part-time role, there were no traditional full-time employee benefits. If that is important to you then I would say that is the only con. I have no complaints, I feel like I got a great reward both professionally and personally for working here. I stopped working because I am pregnant and nearing my due date. But, I would highly consider working at Ivybrook again!
