Still a great place to work: interesting and significant work with minimal corporate overhead. Smart and compassionate people. Very proactive at diverse hiring.
Cons
The only downsides are specific to the industry, not the firm: a bit isolated due to remote nature of the work.
They hired experienced people who were high performers. I learned a lot.
Cons
This company relies on federal government contract work. Leadership was in denial about the effects of DOGE and kept reassuring us that our contract would be safe because it was essential. Unfortunately, our contract was terminated. Despite this, I still recommend this company. Hopefully they can get more work.
