Pros
* Lots of freedom, varied areas of responsibility. * Opportunity to help shape work processes and influence them. * After a break due to childbirth, I was welcomed back with open arms (and challenging tasks). As a woman, mother and part-time employee in a more male-dominated industry, that is not something that can be taken for granted. * Collaboration across departmental boundaries is stimulated.
Cons
* Deadlines sometimes cause stress. However, you can always ask whether colleagues have free capacity to support you if it gets too much. Or you ask the customer whether a deadline can't be pushed back a bit. * If you want to get the highest possible salary, this is not the place for you. There are Christmas and holiday bonuses, meal checks and eco checks. Selling a lot of big projects does not affect the salary, there is no extra bonus (however supporting colleagues when necessary, who do not have to be afraid of not receiving any bonus if they help someone else).
