Pros
Good name to get on your CV. Easy recruitment process. Recent improvement to company benefits. Seems as though a few people have moved into alternative roles within the company. Decent cultural values. Breakfast, gym facility onsite (albeit small), refreshments provided throughout the day.
Cons
Having joined 6 months ago, you can see the challenges they have faced since the pandemic. Having spoken to other colleagues many staff were furloughed/ let go during the pandemic and they are only now beginning to rebuild the teams. NO HOT FOOD ALLOWED in the office - which I found absurd due to "preferences" re. smell. Needs to be reconsidered for obviously reasons including the cost of living. Struggle to see the career opportunities. Not in the best of place with relationships due to previous staff shortage. Lack of innovation perhaps due to complacency has led them to a place where they're only just started to introduce "Digital". Senior team have been with the company for some time, perhaps contributing to the lack of innovation. Some teams are more diverse than others. Members of the management team close knit, interesting style of management. 3 days in the office, "flexible work" but have not seen this in action.
