Cons
-Firstly, they operated under 4 different company names called JDF Strategic Associates, Forward Continuance, Visionary Advertising and Tepo Consultancy. All do the same thing and under the same roof = Door to door sales. -They put you through telephone interview, face to face interview and observing them for a day to see if you got the job. Seemed legit at first but the job titles advertised were junior marketing assistant and sales assistant which made me think it would be indoors as they never stated it is door to door and shopping centres. -On first impression this place seemed professional. They are above a coffee shop and the woman at reception was nice. There is an upstairs which i thought was workers on computers which if i got the job thats were i would be working but it was a room with whiteboards and loud music were everyone had to go to shout and get motivated for the sales of the day. A bizarre situation to witness. -Once your seated in the waiting room for your interview the receptionist made you fill in a form asking your education and qualifications. That being suspect as it was on your CV that she apparently looked at and made the decision to invite you to this interview. -The job description was completely false. You dont get paid until you make a sale, its 100% commission based. No salary. I kept asking what the salary was but the question kept getting avoided. -You travel in a car or a bus with people you dont know to somewhere situated hours away from Belfast, you get no money for travel costs and you are working for free for them. -The hours were 8am to 9pm. You have to wait until the manager comes back to the office to discuss todays sales. There is no work life balance with this. No social life as you have to work Monday- Saturday starting at 8am and finishing at 9 or 10pm. The men in charge of this lived and breathed sales. They were arrogant and delusional. They dont care if you were sick or the weather was dangerous to be working in. I couldn't believe these people existed. - Its also a self employed role which they never told me about until i got an email from receptionist who worked in the office to register as self employed with HMRC. It makes the multiple interview processes a waste of time as you are working for yourself! -Working here is also dangerous, male or female they encouraged you to go into peoples houses as they said its important to build connection with the potential customer. They have no care for your safety as a few days in you are expected to knock doors alone. This role is perfect for someone with no family or anyone who cares about them as i didn't get home to 10pm every night which hugely concerned family over my safety. -You can make money from this job but you have to be highly motivated and comfortable with conning. Other employees said its great if you meet your sales for the day as you can relax but that is a lie as you still have to do the long hour day even if you got the sales you aimed for. You cant do a shorter day. - They pray on umemployed inexperienced people. Made them believe they were special by being taken on. The men in charge have no qualifications nor a university degree but claim do be professionals in business and management. - I wish these reviews existed before i joined this company and i hope this warns people in case these muppets come back to Belfast to try to hire a new generation of inexperienced people.
