JIEDDO has the noble mission of protecting service members and US Government interests across the world. The team is dynamic, multi-disciplined and functional to quickly resolve challenges to warfighter needs. The rapid fielding abilities are a model for equipping agencies for the Services to emulate.

Stove piped efforts with an unwillingness to share information due to possibility of infringing on some misplaced sense of possession of solution development; Empire building for the last half-decade has created monstrosities of sub-departments which do not follow the commands of the Senior Leadership; Toxic leaders, who may be experts in their fields, are infecting the climate and creating a place where nothing gets completed because "someone might use OUR stuff to get the credit". Summary, the element needs to get 'back to the basics' of who they ultimately service.

Mission could make you feel like you are contributing to the support of warfighter

Organization is extremely poorly run and is hostile to competence. Review IG report which scratches the surface of the incompetence and utter disregard for good management, acquisition principal, and providing support to the warfighter with materiel that actually works. Further the old boy network is extremely competent in ensuring only certain people are hired and promoted. This total disrespect of employees is sanctioned by DTRA, the parent Agency. The organization disregards Congressional mandates and operates with impunity. JIEDDO/JIDA/JIDO is the definition of a hostile work environment and the racism is repugnant. By definition, there is no real sexism because the gender of workers are used to ensure that ethic and racial minorities aren't hired or promoted.
