Pros

Decent Benefits, some job enhancement training opportunities, LOTS OF FREE FOOD, climate controlled buildings

Cons

Promotions only go to those who suck up or 'know the right people' If you're the type of person to voice your opinion to the opposition, be prepared for the target on your back. The majority, if not all, managers, including functional managers/directors or whatever they want to call them now, will not acknowledge your successes but will primarily focus on every little thing you did wrong or not to their personal satisfaction. They'll say employees work/life balance and happiness is a core value of the company (coming from Hitachi) but its never been shown that this an accurate and sincere statement. Bottom line, is money. YOU are replaceable. YOU are a number. Crestview, an INVESTMENT company, showed they cared and appreciated employees more than the new parent company ever has.

Pros

Exposure to manufacturing and supply chain operations Some supportive coworkers and team members

Cons

Contractors were frequently treated differently from full time employees. Company events, holiday celebrations, prizes, and morale activities were openly communicated throughout email and the building, while contractors were told they were excluded from participation. There were also situations where meetings regarding bonuses and employee incentives took place onsite while contractors were asked to leave the area entirely. The separation between contractors and employees created an uncomfortable and discouraging environment despite contractors contributing significantly to daily operations. Training and communication could also be inconsistent, and long term growth opportunities for contractors lacked transparency mostly due to "budget".
