Great health benefits, but management fails employees - Manager JRK RESIDENTIAL GROUP Employee Review

Pros

Health insurance and dental coverage. In house staff is like a family

Cons

Absolutely everything else. Upper management doesn’t give you any tools to succeed, they nickel and dime their sites. They overwork all salaried employees and reprimand if hourly employees are over their allotted hours yet are requesting the moon and the stars from them. They underpay and understaff all sites which leaves the onsite staff with a messy property, angry tenants and extremely high turnover.

Pros

If you work hard and know your stuff, they definitely appreciate and reward you. Always had a great relationship with upper management and training from other PMs or corporate support. Benefits are great!

Cons

Work life balance can improve.

Pros

- Company doesn’t seem to be as shy as most others about spending a few extra dollars to keep our communities up to date and comparable to others. - Commissions vary on occupancy so if you’re good at getting people in and keeping them happy you can earn more (I have experience with other companies that are the opposite, they only offer more money when you’re slacking on numbers which is extremely frustrating to see when you’re keeping your community up to standard and get nothing for it).

Cons

- They don’t like you to cancel uninterested prospects unless they directly ask to no longer be contacted which makes prospect organization and managing leads much more complicated because there is no separation within the system between genuine leads and people who just aren’t interested or might have even blocked your calls already. It feels like a waste of time and constantly makes me nervous that I might be forgetting to reach out to people who might actually want to rent.
