Mundane. Limited in creativity and very cookie-cutter in terms of ideas. - Anonymous employee JSA Employee Review

Pros

Decent salary. Really can't think of any other pro....

Cons

If you are looking for an innovative, creative agency, this is not the place for you. Smug management level colleagues are overly protective of their jobs, and so do not encourage development. Only for those who need to think inside the box. Innovation is discouraged. Poaching of ideas from other agencies is commonplace here.

Pros

Broad exposure (design, CDs, client meetings) — fast, varied AXP hours Direct mentorship from the principal Coastal/flood-code niche (FEMA V/AE zones, elevated foundations) — marketable across the Mid-Atlantic Steady resort residential pipeline; early client-facing experience

Cons

Seasonal, feast-or-famine cash flow Narrow project type (mostly residential), limited portfolio depth Lower pay ceiling Thin in-house technical expertise; Grasshopper/Dynamo skills likely go unused Geographic isolation, smaller professional network
