There has been many new and different changes the last few months. For example, we switched salesforce versions, causing us to lose our prospects and not being able to prospect normally, causing low sales numbers. We were given no quota adjustment even though we were unable to do our main function of the job for 3 weeks. There was no acknowledgement from leaders that all of the changes are adding up and causing a burnt out environment. Lots of reps are leaving because of this.
Then we moved to quarterly quotas, to avoid paying out monthly accelerators. Seems like all the changes are a way to make prospecting more difficult and to avoid paying reps.
The last couple months, they are only paying reps 80% of their commission checks, even if they went above 80% of their number and said they will be paying the rest "at a later date". Sketchy and disappointing. This makes reps frustrated for not getting paid as promised for their hard earned money.
The biggest change is switching from Outreach to Groove. We were given no formal trainings and were expected to pick up the platform on our own. It has made everyone's prospecting less efficient and less personalized, even though that is what they are preaching. Majority of sales reps do not like using Groove as it is clunky and takes multiple steps to do a simple task and would take way less time in Outreach. Feels like we are using a start up prospecting product/tool. Not sure why Jamf switched from Outreach to Groove, as Outreach was working great and now Groove is affecting our prospecting efforts in a very negative way. No quota adjustment has been given and we are told to "work as normal and make sure to hit your number".
Good performing sdr's used to get Senior SDR titles with a pay increase but that has been taken away with no warning. Starting SDR's are getting higher on target earnings than reps that have been there over a year with good standing. This has cause frustration in good standing reps that have no been rewarded for their hard work.
No real advancement opportunities.
Jamf culture used to be great but it is now the thing that is making reps and the company as a whole frustrated.
A lot of the changes we are given with no time in advance to prepare and we just have to work as normal.
The Jamf SDR job used to be a great job but it has changed for the worse the last 6 months and a lot of reps are looking elsewhere.
