Pros

You are only required to be in the office two days per week, which is great if you like a hybrid work environment.

Cons

There are so many I will not even be able to mention them all, but here are the top cons: 1) You may sign an offer for one role, but be given an entirely different role that you have no experience in while Jefferies is aware given your resume that you applied with. Then, you will be asked why things are moving slower than expected despite working nights and weekends to make sure you are keeping things floating (as you were the only one hired for this dishonest role) 2) There is no support from the business when asked for help or mentorship 3) There is no HR for HR so if you have any issues, too bad (and Jefferies will admit to that) 4) You will be retaliated against once you do resign 5) Of course it is an Investment Bank, however, the "bro" culture is so excessive. (And I have been in Finance for several years) 6) Women are not treated equal. (Just do one google search) 7) Top level management does not care about anyone except themselves 8) Regardless of what you hear on the street, the pay is absolutely terrible, no raises despite inflation and cost of living, bonuses are not good 9) There is no culture 10) You will not have any career development
