Pros
Jelli does it's best to keep up with the Silicon Valley Lifestyle. They provide great benefits, decent salary matching and 401k. If you work in Engineering they provide great training, and it is an excellent place to work if you are in the Marketing or Engineering department. Most of the people there really care about the product and they have high standards for performance. Provided you get a good manager, you will no doubt excel in the environment if you have the work ethic and single-mindedness to excel in the job.
Cons
Management is new, particularly in their administrative, HR, and Accounting departments. Performance is discussed briefly and glossed over, and I saw many times in the company where people were let go who had no idea they were under performing because it was never explained to them or who were let go because management did not like them. In addition, the turnover for their administrative departments, namely Human Resources, Accounting, Office Management & Culture is extremely high, due to poor communication, high standards and a inability to communicate short-fallings. They refused to hire an in house accounting and human resources department during my time there and this did not help the short-fallings of the company in that area as well. In addition, their recent acquisition by IHeartMedia makes the future a bit foggy, due to IHeartMedia's bankruptcy and business dealings with the company being close-doored. The downgrades to employee lifestyle because of this merger are evident, but it was no doubt a smart move by management to be acquired, and it is understandable why the decision was made.
