Pros
None any more. There was for a short period, a sense of optimism around the company globally. It has evaporated within the last 8 months. I have met a small handful of warm, creative individuals.
Cons
Wow, where do I begin? The start of 2022 was looking positive, until the Founders decided to push for hyper growth (they saw some success and became extensively greedy thinking they could open offices and onboard everywhere around the world). We were onboarding up to 70 people per week globally... RIDICULOUS. By June we had grown exponentially, and we could not keep up with the economic pressures so the founders decided to begin the first round of Layoffs. By the Autumn, there was a sense of instability and pensive apprehension for the future. Offices that were opened in international territories were shut down after 6 weeks. Come December, the founders and the board had decided to nearly HALVE the company and go back to being a 'small company' - telling the employees that they will need to wear different hats and work 2-3 job roles next year. One of the main values at Jellysmack is to 'Overperform'. You will NOT be rewarded for this. It becomes an expectation. Some employees who work in the Paris office are protected by HR for some mysterious reason resulting in the sacking of extremely talented technical individuals. If you work outside of France for Jellysmack, you will experience a second class feeling - as they will prioritise and protect French employees over you. Guys, it looks cool here from the outside. The branding is excellent blah blah. Stay away, don't waste your time.
