      A reference check company has been unable to get any response back from Cortec except to tell me to request in my own writing the authorization to provide the reference. I went to the local office to do do and i was told by a RUDE employee that they have no idea and its not their fault. I never said anything to indicate it was. I told him i was in a hurry so skip the blame lecture and just let me know if he could fax it to corporate. He said it would take a week or more. Great so as i am waiting for this the company running the background check doesnt know its being held up by incompetent and rude people. Sure glad im not with Cortec anymore. I tried calling corp headquarters and you cannot get to a person. What a joke.

      RUDE PEOPLE who dont care. When I walked into the office the employee was talking on the phone with a client about one of their employees and the fact that he had done something wrong actually saying his full name and what he did. If I were a prospective customer I wouldn't do business with a company that talks on speaker phone in front of strangers about their clients and employees. Thought it was very rude. Employee he was talking about would not be hired by me because of what I overheard. Unbelievably unprofessional.

      I’ve played phone tag via text and call specifically with a lady, Katerina. It’s really unfortunate and saddening for communication to be so terrible that it takes me two in a half weeks, from one of our two women that I’ve been in contact with, to hear back from a job or give me the run around, for a job that I’ve applied and that you’re hiring for . Times are already hard but I never thought I’d be this difficult to get a job considering i have no priors and im actively looking for work. I pray that these actions change in the future, it changes lives. I was looking forward toward working with my little brother who also works there. Thank you for the opportunity. God bless.
