Lack overarching corporate strategy (sill need to figure what kind of portfolio company they are, and want to be) Buy distressed companies and then don't invest to improve Whipsaw employees - hire then RIF within a year, standard model for past 3 years Extremely weak HR and Talent Acquisition resources and capabilities ( jobs posted but actually on hold or canceled) Does not invest in people development at the at the level that moves the needle on stable growth and profitability
