Pros

Fantastic company to work for with lots of benefits. Shown resilience during the Covid pandemic allowing us to work from home and be agile to meet needs for those with kids. The work offers a lot of opportunity for growth and some great projects to get involved in. Have clear and strong relationship with management who go out there way to support and provide guidance.

Cons

Miss the interaction within the office, but know this cannot be helped due to the ongoing pandemic.

Excellent hierarchy, superior management. No better place to work

Cons

Maybe not the best place for someone with limited experience.

Pros

Some interesting projects. Opportunity to project manage smaller sites. Nice view from the office of the Steam Train station. Close to the pub.

Cons

They obviously didn't read my CV as I stated I had very little commercial experience. On this basis I got demoted from senior to regular level technician within a few months. Obviously after this my enthusiasm was gone despite best intentions. Many other incidents occurred over my short tenure there so I finally decided to leave and (apparently) left on good terms. Only to discover on the arrival at me new job that JDP had refused to supply my new employer any form of recommendation despite promises that they would. 40hr week and overtime is expected - even if MD works almost part time. Wages are docked frequently without prior warning - No allowance is given for overtime in this regard. You are seen as commodities to make as much money for the MD and nothing more.
