Pros

Better hours and lighter workload than Big 4 Good benefits (401(k) matching, 25 days PTO, etc), although they're eliminating the traditional insurance for 2016 (HDHP only)

Cons

It's still public accounting, so it comes with long hours and tedious work

Thank you for taking time to write a review - we appreciate your feedback. As a public accounting firm, we know there are stresses unique to this industry. However, we believe our fun and collaborative culture provides unique opportunities for our people to successfully pursue professional and professional goals. We offer paid time off for employees to volunteer at the places that are most meaningful to them. Johnson Lambert employees also enjoy a variety of firm-sponsored social events, from holiday parties at a ski resort or Pinehurst to impromptu foosball competitions in the office. Johnson Lambert balances seasonal demands by offering vacation time during busy season, reduced summer hours, and a generous amount of vacation time. Johnson Lambert is also committed to offering competitive benefits that meet our people’s needs. With the transition to a High Deductible Health Plan in 2016, we are confident our employees will continue to have comprehensive medical coverage that is on par or better than our current plan options. Johnson Lambert pays 90% of employee only coverage and 50% of dependent coverage. The firm also funds 70% of the deductible via contributions to each employee’s HSA account, and this money is yours to keep forever!
