Pros
1. JR is a fairly high-paced creative agency that challenges energetic, ambitious creatives to grow their skill set and their mindset. The work is at a high level and there is a constant push to be better/faster/smarter. This creates opportunity across the board. 2. At the same time, the atmosphere is team-oriented and collegial, rather than cut-throat and hyper-competitive. The daily working atmosphere is comfortable and relatively low-key, especially given the nature of the work. 3. Management is sincerely interested in the success of the team and of individuals 4. The location is ideal for those looking for a comfortable place to live and/or raise a family.
Cons
This is agency work, so JR is not as stable an environment as some "in-house" creative studios. Management, while well-meaning, definitely struggles to be relevant and competitive in a highly-volatile market.
