Pros

Nice office and good work equipment. That's It.

Cons

TLDR: they want people who only say yes to everything they want, specially in the scolds where basically they spit in your face in front of everyone They don't want people who actually think and have a personal life expectation. Expect an absolute out-of-minded amount of time off wasted, where of course the math won't go on your side when you put in the weigh scale the time and the obtained income, just as if they instead pay for all the overtime they demand mandatorily (real thing). Be aware of the craziest and most out of mind due dates. They ABSOLUTELY WON'T CARE if you barely sleep 2-4 hours per day trying to get things done just to fulfill their whims, and of COURSE! they will yell at you for doubling your work shift (for free), and don't being a robot to think and solve at the same time all the tasks that they constantly and almost everyday override. Basically be a cyborg with an Octa-Core and multi-thread brain to work here! Absolutely no respect or care for your personal time and mental health. You can't take long PTO without overworking and "complete all your tasks". PTO is for resting, and taking all the time you need and have. It should not be a problem. Instead you have to triple working before and after the PTO. This is a big concern since there are people with months of PTO accumulated. Good company just to new people, or to use as a ladder to climb into a better place. You will have good/decent annual pay rises, but it's never going to worth all the time-off on weekends/holidays you have to invest. They don't pay overtime, but they request it every day. Your actitude will be negative if you respect your work shift and leave exactly when it ends, even if you arrive at time. You will have to overwork to achieve their out-of-mind due-dates. A plus is that even if you have a high-priority task, they will demand you to attend to other stuff. (Yeah, this makes NO sense at all) And this is why you will have to invest your spare time if you don't want to be scolded, yelled and maybe indirectly insulted in front of everyone, but this is the routine here. This is a maked-up "modern" startup, with radical working environment, management and ideas. People have to "compensate" the time even for medical appointments. They watch all the time over your shoulder and mark you even for looking at your phone 5 minutes. They encourage you everyday and every meeting to "stay focus" and -make it happen- but there's absolutely no congruence on mandatory demand you to complete hard dues without at least time compensation for you. Working here simplified in 3 facts: 1- You will have to hate yourself for holding their rage even if it's not your mistake when they want to trash-talk people in front of everyone, so they are NOT the nice people they say during the interviews at all. 2- There is no work shift here. Your time won't be yours anymore. No matter if you work 14 hours/day, they will trash-talk to you at some point and pretend demency about you working overtime. 3- This is a vicious square. When someone quits and leave to other place they calm down for a couple of weeks/months, then they do it again.

Pros

Justia is a fast growing company with great leadership at the helm. They are focused on their long and short term goals while treating their people well. You are free to approach anyone on the C-Level team with any questions. They have loyal customers and employees which speaks volumes. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Justia and consider many there my friends.

Cons

They could have come back to work at the office a little sooner than they did. However, I'm sure there are reasons that I am unaware of that they stayed remote until recently.
