Pros

For anyone starting out in recruiting, I would say the main thing that sets KA apart from other recruiting firms is the training program. You are trained directly by the founders of KA who do an amazing job laying the foundation (in a relatively short amount of time) for a successful career in recruiting. Even when the training period ends the founders are actively involved in your development as a recruiter and are amazingly supportive. The same goes for the rest of the team here. We are a small office where you are able to learn a lot just from sitting in the same room as the senior recruiters who are always offering advice and guidance. If you are looking for a career in recruiting with a great work environment, KA Recruiting is the right place for you.

Cons

The industry itself can be challenging at times but if you are someone who likes to work hard and be challenged it is also extremely rewarding.

Pros

Working at KA Recruiting was the best thing I could have done for myself personally and professionally. I started after graduating college, had a lot to learn about a lot of things and everyone on the team supported me to get where I wanted to be. I've worked here for a year and a half now and have been supported throughout any and all problems I've encountered. My communication skills have gotten better, I am confident in myself and my work and am able to have hard discussions with candidates or clients as needed. Help is always there when you ask for it, and you are encouraged to ask for it the minute you think you may be struggling to learn something, or don't know why something that has previously worked for you isn't anymore. This goes for all stages in your career here - even their most seasoned employees are encouraged to ask questions. The owners also value every employee's opinion regardless of how new you are which speaks a lot to company culture. There is room for growth, a generous commission structure and a positive attitude throughout the office. Everyone's achievements are celebrated from a new employee's first success, to an employee breaking a personal best for something or potentially a company record. I have recommended this position to any friends looking for a change and students looking to intern or for a full time role who have asked me about my career and will certainly do so moving forward.

Cons

Nothing specific to KA - the only cons would be ones that come with the nature of recruiting/sales that you will find in any similar position.
