Pros
One of the most rewarding aspects of working at KAEKO was the incredible teammates I had the privilege to work alongside. Together, we fostered a sense of camaraderie, problem-solving, and teamwork that made a real difference in daily operations. I’m proud of the positive changes we implemented—from streamlined project management practices to creating a supportive, collaborative environment where everyone’s input was valued. It's unfortunate the KAEKO executive team is so disconnected from their people they did not witness our successes.
Cons
I’m disappointed to say that my experience with KAEKO fell far short of the values the company claimed to champion. After two years of dedicating myself to their mission, working within a team-focused environment where transparency and respect were supposed to be paramount, I was terminated without cause or any documented issues in my file. This happened just three days after I reached out to HR for support to help me cope with the emotional challenges surrounding my mother’s battle with cancer. It’s disheartening that, while KAEKO spent years promoting teamwork and accountability, they failed to practice what they preached. The executive team lacks not only the transparency they ask from employees but also basic financial stability, with significant sums reportedly owed from clients. Their response to employees seeking support is sorely inadequate and reflects poorly on their leadership maturity and responsibility. For anyone considering a role here, I encourage looking into both the company’s history and the real experiences of past employees. Consistency between corporate values and executive behavior is critical in a healthy workplace, and that unfortunately was not my experience at KAEKO
